Newbury Station is undergoing improvements with funding from the Local Growth Fund. As part of the regeneration, GWR are constructing three new business growth units, known as The Engine Shed and are designed to provide a boost to the development of the local economy.
The three business units are being constructed in an area to the south side of the station.
Approximate sizes of each unit are:
- Unit 1 – 89.5 sq. m./963 sq. ft.
- Unit 2 – 100.2 sq. m./1079 sq. ft.
- Unit 3 – 93.8 sq. m./1010 sq. ft.
Construction commenced in summer 2022 and GWR anticipates the units being available in April 2023.
