Trade at Newbury Show 2024

West Berkshire Council recognises the success of the Newbury Show last year which  attracted over 32,000 visitors, boosting our local businesses and economy. This year, they are back and hoping to attract more than 40,000 visitors to the show. The event will be held over the weekend of 21 and 22 September and any businesses wishing to secure a trader stand can visit their website

The feedback from the show in 2023 was very positive with it being a more ‘local show - as it used to be’ and this year, Ramsbury Brewery have again decided to be the main sponsor of the show.

As well as the Local Producers area they had in 2023, the event will be introducing an area dedicated to the environment and sustainability and would welcome interested sponsors and trade stands supporting this important initiative.  All trade stands are now on sale with a Super Early Bird rate until 31 January and Local Producers rate via here.  For sponsorship contact claire.jones@nadas.co.uk

The organisers will once again in 2024 be offering sustainable travel options to the show with buses from Newbury and Thatcham, and bike racks for those who choose to cycle. They will also be ensuring that all waste is effectively recycled and are looking at how we can ensure food from the produce tent can be offered to local charities following the Show, aligning with key council environmental initiatives.

There is ambitious plans from the Newbury Show organisers to plant around 10 acres of wheat in their 44-acre field adjacent to the main Showground. Over the course of the Show weekend this will be harvested, the straw baled, ground prepared and the next year’s crop planted. They are hoping to offer tractor / trailer rides from the main showground across to the working demos, which will provide visitors with a better awareness and understanding of the farming process.

This show at Newbury Showground is easily accessible at Junction 13 of the M4 and A34.
